One of my favorite places for take out in Lancaster. I go multiple times a month and it’s never disappointing. Always plenty of flavor, reasonably priced and fresh. Whether it’s a bowl or an arepa, you can’t go wrong. The yucca fries are crispy and fresh and the steak is always well seasoned.
The acclaim of this place is really deserved. Flavor, combinations, portions all really merit the highest score I give. I had the chicken chimichurri and pernil arepas. Chicken also has avocado which I didn't even realize but appreciated. So much flavor in the pernil and both meats were juicy and tender. I do wish they had a spicy hot sauce to add, only complaint (and they might and I didn't know!) @lanco.food.dude
We ordered Chellas for catering a birthday party. The food was amazing and everyone loved it! The food came very well prepared and labeled so we could keep it warm for our guests. The food stayed fresh and delicious throughout the night. There was plenty of food to feed everyone. Added bonus that everything is gluten free! I highly recommend Chellas to anyone looking for a great catering option!
The food is always incredible, the staff is always friendly, and the prices are reasonable (thanks inflation). Chellas doesn’t disappoint. If you haven’t been what are you waiting for? If you have you see why it’s so easy to keep coming back. Keep up the great work!
As someone who is gluten-intolerant, this was a lovely treat! I ate here multiple times during my time in the Lancaster area. The food was delicious. The only downsides are that the arepas are on the small side, and they're fairly messy. Totally worth it, but price-wise it gets a bit expensive if you need to buy two to feel like you got a full meal. Oh, and I personally felt like they overdid it with the cheese. I had to remove a bunch so I could eat it and taste the rest of the food in the arepa.
1st time trying this and we were very impressed. The food quality was excellent. We had the #5, Vegetables Salteado Bowl, and plantain. Everything had great flavor and texture. Parking is very tight as this is along a busy road, but highly recommend.
This place is an absolute gem. Picked up steak bowls for lunch here after leaving the Costco and it was amazing. Definitely order ahead to reduce your wait time there. We will def be back
Tasty foods all around! The service there was great, and had an awesome atmosphere. It's good for pick up, or eating there outside. Weird spot, but definitely worth it!!
Hands down I’m giving this the best arepa I’ve had in a while. The taste to the portion is out of this world. It was so good I had to get a second one. The sauces provided are so tasteful and a major plus to enhance the already amazing flavors from the arepa. The lomo saltado arepa is a must! They have a nice scenery with a fire pit. Plenty of outdoor seating.
This place is no joke and is amazing food. Don't be fooled by the food truck looking set up. Very fresh and flavorful food selections. Also nice outdoor seating with picnic tables and even a campfire pit with wood burning and surrounding benches. A must stop.
